High Point Regional Health Foundation
Video Production
Goal
To produce a compelling, informative and emotionally gratifying presentation video to be shown to Foundation donors at their annual “Hearts of Gold” signature event.
Approach
We selected three “survivors” from the previous year to represent patients of High Point Regional Hospital who had beaten the odds because of the exemplary health care they received. An old Kodak Carousel slide projector was used to show family photos of the patients – illustrating their full lives before their crisis. Shot on a soundstage with a simple blue background (representing UNC Health Care), white sofa and soft-silhouette lighting.
Result
The video achieved its desired result – tears and applause from the audience of 300 donors. The production received over 3,000 Facebook views in the first 24 hours.
